I had my new year's party catered by LA Stella restaurant everything was delicious Laurie and Adele made it perfect for my family all eleven of us to enjoy an excellent family dinner the caterers arrived on time set up was quick and swift very very happy and pleased looking forward to next year to do it all again thank you all for everything!!! Great place to grab subs and some other Italian specialities. My husband and I enjoyed both the La Rupe and the Italian sub, as well as some cookies we purchased. Unfortunately, they were out of the Roast Beef, so that will be the next thing I order!

Happy to stop by and pick a nice treat for a friend that is under the weather. Service is excellent here. I can get what I need pretty quickly. Tortellini! IT's garlicky and heavenly! A bit of spinach... so I feel even more happy about my choice. Some crab stuffed mushrooms too. For me there is some salmon that looks wonderful. Luckily they had some sample for their PEATO GOUDA. Delicious!

I freaking love La Stalla. La Stalla the restaurant has spawned a love child and its name is La Stalla Italian Market. The Calamari is spectacular, Seafood salad gets a passing grade when they have it, however they also have delightful items like hot peppers stuffed with sausage which is suprisely light and packs a punch. They have a large variety of cheeses, a myarid of soups to choose from including their signature Pasta Fagioli. A dedicated shelf to high quality ravoli's, a shelf for dynamite Italian desserts. If you never heard of La Stalla before do yourself a favor and dine at the restaurant first. If you are bored one day and want to spend the day in Newtown, which is a great classy town with the renown Goodnoe's Ice Cream Creamy within a one minute drive well if that's not enough reason to get out of bed for great italian fare and fresh creamery ice cream you need to get your head checked! Definitely have yourself a night or day and check this spot out. (Also, there is possibly the best state wine store I have ever been in one minute away - not pushing alcohol on you but just saying :)
